Today, we’re featuring the Molecular Sciences Research Center (MSRC) at the University of Puerto Rico. This truly amazing space supports startups and independent research organizations, contributing to the growth of Puerto Rico’s scientific and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Project Overview
The ASTRE Floor at MSRC is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support molecular biology, genomics, bio-imaging, and life sciences research. This collaborative environment provides seven cutting-edge laboratories equipped to foster scientific innovation and creativity.

Special Considerations
One of the most striking features of this amazing space is its full glass wall, which allows researchers to work in a bright, inspiring environment with a stunning view. This feature not only enhances the workspace experience but also fosters creativity and focus.
Additionally, Caribbean Scientific is proud to set a new industry standard in Puerto Rico by providing lab furniture built to SEFA standards, ensuring the highest level of durability and safety.
By bridging infrastructure with opportunity, Caribbean Scientific equips laboratories that not only support today’s research but also cultivate the scientists of tomorrow. As part of this vision, the team has chosen to support Ciencia Puerto Rico’s “Semillas de Triunfo” program if awarded the contest prize. This initiative provides STEM education, mentorship, and leadership training for young women in Puerto Rico, inspiring them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
